Learn to Fence results

Last week saw the beginning of the new learn to fence course, which will run for the next five weeks to conclude in mid July. The week before marked the ending of our previous class, who participated in a pool. If anybody has any photographs they would like to put up of their time in the class, please leave a comment!

Many thanks to Jeff Gray fencing for a very generous loan of wires and blades, without which the learn to fence pool could not have happened.

Learn to fence

Hi everyone,

our first learn to fence course has just been completed. It was a great success and everyone had a great time.

Just reminder that the next course kicks off this Friday at 7pm. If you’d like to reserve a place, please head into the sports centre at MQ uni and speak to reception.

The cost of the course is only for $55 for MQ uni students and $85 for everyone else.

An annual novice membership of only $20 will be offered at the conclusion of the course.

This is a great way to get involved in a new sport. Fencing is great fun, just hard to get into without the right avenue. This is a great opportunity for you to get the experience.
